Install, Configure, Test, Monitor the new Atos BullSequana M Enterprise Servers.

Maintains existing Atos/Bull Virtuo, GGATE Servers, SFTP, and XPRINT systems to analyze, design, recommend, and implement system changes.

The Senior Consultant is responsible for Installing, configuring, testing and monitoring the new ATOS BullSequana M Enterprise Servers. They will continue to evaluate the existing Atos/Bull Virtuo, GGATE and XPRINT systems to analyze, recommend, and implement system changes. Consultants are able to perform a variety of complicated tasks with minimal or no direct supervision. Defines system and application architecture changes and provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to the organization. Understands government business process and operations. Knowledge of the Atos/Bull TAC interface. expertise within the Atos/Bull Virtuo environment, proficient in system administration of Atos/Bull Virtuo, TMS, GGATE, Atos/Bull implementation of SFTP and the XPRINT facility. Extensive knowledge of the Virtuo hardware and software and the interaction with TMS (Tape Management System), SFTP and Disaster Recovery processes. May function as a SME (Subject-Matter Expert). Develop contingency plans as necessary. May analyze or recommend commercially available software or other IT architectural components. Execution of all responsibilities with little direct supervision. Mentor and coach peers. Provide knowledge transfer to peers. Ability to author reports and recommendations for a technical audience. Ability to troubleshoot and perform problem resolution. RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 8 to 11 years PREFERRED EDUCATION: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study. Experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis with thirty (NA) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience.
