Commercial Journeyman Plumber

We're seeking a Commercial Journeyman Plumber in Columbus, OH to install and service commercial plumbing systems for ground-up construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial plumbing systems including water distribution, sanitary waste, and storm drainage

• Read and work from plumbing drawings, specifications, and shop drawings

• Measure, cut, thread, and join piping materials using appropriate methods

• Install plumbing fixtures, valves, water heaters, backflow devices, and equipment

• Perform pressure testing, hydrostatic testing, and final inspections

• Troubleshoot plumbing system issues and implement solutions

• Coordinate with other trades and general contractors on daily activities

• Maintain organized work areas and proper tool inventory

• Complete work in compliance with state and local plumbing codes

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Ohio Journeyman Plumber license required

• 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience

• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and installation practices

• Ability to read plumbing drawings and work independently

• Proficiency with copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron, and other piping materials

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice-to-Haves

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

• Backflow prevention certification

• Experience with medical gas systems or fire protection piping

• Welding or fabrication skills
