Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
Manage and mentor a team of software developers (front-end, back-end, and DevOps).
Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development planning.
Cultivate a positive, growth-oriented team culture emphasizing quality, accountability, and innovation. Technical Delivery & Architecture
Oversee full-stack development of NET- and React-based web applications.
Guide modernization of legacy systems to remediate technical debt.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD best practices, and secure development principles.
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on performance, scalability, and resilience. Project & Stakeholder Management
Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to prioritize features and technical debt.
Translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and communicate timelines and outcomes to leadership.
Advocate for sustainable technical strategies and realistic delivery expectations. Process Improvement
Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and collaboration practices.
Introduce and refine Agile methodologies suited to team dynamics.
Promote the effective use of AI and automation to enhance developer productivity and quality. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
Experience with .NET (C#), SQL, and modern front-end frameworks (React, MUI). Experience managing modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, microservices, and cloud/on-prem hybrid environments.
Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills
Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools or workflows.
Knowledge of data architecture, APIs, and reporting.
Familiarity with performance optimization and application monitoring. Physical Demands
