Fabrication & Warehouse Assistant

Our client, an award-winning manufacturer is seeking a highly motivated and efficient Fabrication and Warehouse Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial craftmanship and work with steel, aluminum and wood material to create parts for products. Candidates MUST have welding experience to be considered. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with sales office team about current orders and timeframes

Keep track of inventory and communicate with suppliers

Use a forklift, palette jacks and other equipment to unload and load trucks and shipping containers

Package finished goods and prepare for shipment Skills:

Ability to handle a forklift, a palette jack and similar equipment

Experience with basic tools including power drill & grinder

Welding experience is required

Accurately read tape measure and blueprints

Ability to work in a hot warehouse environment

Good verbal and written communication

Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel

Experience in a fabrication environment Compensation:

$18-$24/hour
