Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. Provide comprehensive field service, remote phone support, and system build assistance for the company, ensuring professional representation, timely documentation, and proactive problem resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Perform field service, remote phone support and system build support, meeting position requirements.

Complete required documentation promptly and accurately, maintaining organized records.

Act as the primary on-site representative of the company, presenting a professional and well-organized image to customers.

Conduct site surveys, installations, maintenance, and repairs on vision inspection systems, outlining site and equipment requirements.

Understand customer goals, identify the consequences of solutions, and develop installation and escalation plans.

Configure system hardware, software, and network components, ensuring proper assembly and integration.

Utilize proactive monitoring procedures to identify opportunities for problem prevention.

Provide customers with overviews of installation activities, site-specific information, and access to appropriate contacts.

Conduct customer training, presenting information clearly and persuasively.

Maintain high customer satisfaction by understanding and meeting customer needs.

Handle customer relations problems promptly and appropriately, escalating issues as needed.

Provide support to 24/7 service plan customers, ensuring availability as required.

Communicate objectives and results related to installations and inspection issues.

Provide feedback to the organization regarding competitive systems.

Conduct application support when appropriate, optimizing inspection systems for customers. Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree and technical courses or equivalent experience.

Experience in the automation field with a preference for machine vision equipment.

2 years of independent field installations and troubleshooting experience.

Knowledge and experience in manufacturing automation components and programmable devices.
