MWE is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Outside Sales Manager to grow our wholesale dealer and rental network throughout the Southwest region. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, increasing product penetration, and representing the "Gold Standard" in rubber tracks, tires, and undercarriage. You are someone who enjoys being on the road, visiting dealers, walking yards, identifying fleet needs, and helping customers lower their cost-per-hour with the right undercarriage solutions. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with strong earning potential.
New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri
Location: Remote within territory with expected travel
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Build and grow a territory covering NM, TX, OK, AR, LA, and MO
• Identify, prospect, and convert new wholesale accounts including equipment dealers, rental companies, tire dealers, etc.
• Manage and grow existing accounts through continuous follow-up, account visits, and relationship building
• Conduct on-site fleet evaluations to identify track, tire, and undercarriage needs
• Present our product line, warranty advantages, competitive strengths, and programs
• Provide quotes, support product selection, and assist with completing dealer credit apps and onboarding
• Drive sales of rubber tracks, tires, undercarriage, and related products using deep product knowledge • Follow up on open estimates, lost sales, and customers with low purchase activity
• Support customers in using MWE dealer site and portal
• Participate in trade shows, dealer events, and customer visits as required
• Gather competitive intelligence on pricing, programs, and market activity in your region
• Work closely with Inside Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth transactions
• Submit weekly territory reports including fleet data, customer needs, competitor activity, and opportunities
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation for all customers, leads, and conversations
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational skills with the discipline to manage a large multi-state territory
• Ability to analyze customer fleets, market trends, and competitor activity
• Comfort working independently and regular travel
• Proficiency with CRM systems, quoting tools, and email communication
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel daily/weekly
Education and Experience:
• 3-5 years of outside sales or business development experience
• Experience selling rubber tracks, tires, construction equipment, automotive, or similar mechanical products
• Background in construction, heavy equipment, undercarriage, tracks, or industrial tires
• Experience selling to rental companies, equipment dealers, or B2B networks
• Knowledge of rubber tracks, tires, wheels, undercarriage components, or related products
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
