Location: Charleston, SC (29425) – South Carolina healthcare jobs

Facility Type: Main Operating Room, Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital

Contract Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

Start Date: December 8, 2025

End Date: March 9, 2026

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (6:30am – 7:00pm)

Weekly Hours: 36

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1530-$1640

On-Call: Up to 4 call shifts per 4 weeks

Weekend/Holiday: Up to one weekend shift and one holiday period per assignment

Floating: May float to similar units or sister facilities

Charting System: EPIC

Scrub Color: Provided

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license (must be issued and active before start)

Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required; 2 years preferred

BLS certification required

Experience in Level I Trauma Center preferred

Scrub experience strongly preferred

Ability to work on-call, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Must be able to float within scope as needed

Radiation badge (provided by agency)

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Main Operating Room, circulating and scrubbing for surgical procedures including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team of RNs and Certified Surgical Technologists

Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system

Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage for weekends and holidays

Float to other units or sister facilities within scope to support facility needs

Comply with hospital policies and emergency protocols, especially during hurricane season

Complete required orientation and training modules prior to assignment start
