Job Overview
Small Electrical Service company in Laguna Hills is seeking an experienced Lead Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for an individual who prides themselves on technical expertise, strong customer service, and the ability to manage projects from initial assessment to final completion.
As the Lead Journeyman Electrician, you will work closely with a licensed electrician and oversee a wide range of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate is personable, highly professional, dependable, and able to uphold the company’s high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Troubleshoot electrical and lighting systems efficiently, ensuring safety and code compliance.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to plan and complete projects.
Supervise and mentor electrical apprentices or junior electricians on job sites.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Maintain detailed job records, including materials used, labor hours, and project progress.
Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times.
Travel to various job sites as required, occasionally working weekends or overtime to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
Current Journeyman Electrician Certification required.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule
Full-Time: Monday - Friday
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project schedules.
Location
Based in Laguna Hills, CA with regular travel to job sites across the region.
