Could you be the full-time Senior Accountant in Istanbul we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your financial expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (finance, operations, and management), prepare and analyse financial statements, and ensure compliance with tax regulations, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of monitoring accounts payable and receivable to ensure proper cash flow management, but also support month-end and year-end close processes.

We’ll look to you for:

Preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Managing general ledger accounts and ensuring timely reconciliations

Monitoring accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper cash flow management

Assisting in financial planning, budgeting, and cost analysis

Ensuring tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax filings, and all tax declarations

Coordinating audits and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies

Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency

Supporting month-end and year-end close processes

Analysing financial data to identify trends and provide business recommendations

Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial reporting

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Local GAAP/IFRS) and tax regulations

Proficiency in accounting software (SAP and Sunsystem)

Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and lead accounting teams

Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or ACCA) is a plus
