• Maintenance and Servicing:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance of VRV/VRF systems, split units, and package units and also refrigeration equipment (freezers, fridge, coolers, etc.).
Clean filters, check refrigerant levels, inspect electrical components, and calibrate thermostats and controls.
Ensure smooth functioning of indoor and outdoor VRF units by regularly inspecting compressor performance, fan operation, and inverter functions.
Perform leak detection, vacuuming, refrigerant recovery and recharging in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
• Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in VRV/VRF systems including communication failures, sensor malfunctions, and electronic expansion valve issues.
Interpret VRV/VRF system error codes using service tools and control panels to pinpoint system malfunctions.
Repair or replace defective components including compressors, fan motors, PCBs, sensors, and control boards
Analyze system operating parameters such as pressure, temperature, and current to identify inefficiencies or failure trends
Coordinate with OEM technical support or manuals when dealing with complex VRV/VRF issues
Installation Support:
Assist in installation and commissioning of VRF/VRV systems and standard units as per drawings and manufacturer specifications.
Perform piping, insulation, vacuuming, and gas charging for new installations.
Install related electrical works like wiring and DP switch etc., as per site conditions
• System Monitoring and Testing:
Use diagnostic tools (e.g., manifold gauges, clamp meters, VRF controllers) to assess system health.
Monitor and record system pressures, temperatures, and airflow to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordination and Reporting:
Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for scheduled maintenance and urgent repair works.
Prepare and submit daily maintenance reports, checklists, and logbooks.
• Compliance and Safety:
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE during maintenance tasks
Ensure compliance with QCDD, manufacturer, and site-specific HSE guidelines. The HR Department shall coordinate with the concerned department to arrange the interview schedule and inform the agency accordingly.
• Education and Linguistics:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or related field, especially in VRV System.
Must be able to read and write English and prepare various maintenance reports
Arabic speaking will be given preference. Good English conversation is must.
• Experience:
Minimum 4–6 years hands-on experience in servicing VRV/VRF systems (preferably Daikin, LG, or Mitsubishi) and conventional AC units
• Technical Skills:
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills specific to VRF technology.
Familiarity with wiring diagrams, control systems, and remote monitoring tools.
Knowledge of refrigerant types (R410A, R32) and handling procedures.
Experience in maintenance and repairing of refrigeration units like refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, water coolers, etc.
• Other Skills:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
Basic English language skills (reading manuals and completing forms).
• Preferred Qualification
Manufacturer training certificates in VRV/VRF systems.
Knowledge Electrical Works, BMS integration and control systems.
