The Office of Budget and Management’s Financial Support Services division is excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic Financial Program Manager to join our team! This leadership role is central to managing supplier operations and travel processing for the State of Ohio—driving accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service across our statewide financial system.

We are looking for a motivated professional with a degree in public or business administration, accounting, or finance. Experience collaborating with suppliers and state employees, overseeing supplier operations, and applying travel policies within a government or large-scale enterprise environment is highly desirable and will set you up for success.

As a Financial Program Manager, you will:

• Lead and oversee the State’s supplier and travel processes.

• Support accounts payable operations through OAKS Financials and accounts payable data management.

• Mitigate financial and operational risks by applying GAAP, Ohio Administrative Code, and IRS standards.

• Provide strategic program direction and expert guidance to staff, senior leadership, state agencies, and suppliers.

• Drive continuous improvement, developing innovative processes to enhance supplier and travel operations.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in financial administration.

-Or completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in financial administration.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
