Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience, ARRT certification, and proficiency with Siemens equipment.

Responsibilities

Work in an interventional radiology unit

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 7:00pm, with a rotating day off

Includes primary and backup call: one weekday call and one weekend call every 6 weeks

Procedures performed using Siemens imaging equipment

Preference for candidates with experience using the Epic EMR system

Performs all standard interventional radiology procedures and ensures patient safety and comfort

Maintains accurate patient records, especially using Epic if experienced

Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting as soon as the contract is signed

Locals are accepted at the same rate

RTO must be built into the contract at time of consideration

Former employees are eligible if they have been away from the facility for at least 6 months

Current employees are not eligible for travel positions at Ohio State University hospital locations

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology

Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT certification required

Proficiency in operating Siemens radiology equipment

Preferred experience with Epic electronic medical records

License required if applicable

Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
