HGV Technician

Job Title: HGV Technician Shift: Monday : Friday days (45 hrs) Location: Wellington Salary: GBP 44,000 : GBP 49,000 HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional HGV technician / Mechanic / Fitter to the team.

Duties of the HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter : Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to a variety of trucks and commercial vehicles : Perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts.

: Carry out technical inspections : Will be required to undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports to enable repair.

: In this HGV technician / Mechanic / Fitter role you will be working on customer sites with or without workshop facilities being available for use Experience/skills required for the HGV Technician/ Mechanic / Fitter : Ideally hold full HGV qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds) : Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles : Hold an HGV Class 1 or 2 licence would be beneficial : Valid driving licence.
