Senior Technical Superintendent Offshore

*candidates must have offshore technical DP-2/DP-3 to be considered for this role* Role Overview Requirements: Valid Chief Engineer’s license with experience on DP-2 and DP-3 vessels, including at least two years of sea service as Chief Engineer.

Minimum two years’ experience as a Technical Superintendent within a reputable shipping company.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

In-depth knowledge of the marine industry, including relevant rules and regulations.

Solid technical understanding of assigned vessel types.

Familiarity with purchasing processes and budgetary cost control.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of assigned vessels.

Maintain full compliance with the company’s management systems and implement them effectively.

Contribute to the development and improvement of operational procedures.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and environmental awareness.

Monitor vessel performance, technical condition, and operational standards.

Manage budgets responsibly and oversee financial planning for technical operations.

Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and dry-docking activities.

Ensure vessels remain fully certified and appropriately manned in line with international standards.

Prepare accurate technical reports for owners in accordance with contractual obligations.
