Description
Basic Function
Responsible for planning, organizing, and fundraising for ETSS, including, grants, major gifts, annual fund, planned giving, special events and capital campaigns.
Responsibilities
Assist with identifying and cultivating key relationships with prospective donors for diversified funding base, to include individual, corporate, and foundation leaders.
Develop and implement short and long-term plans to meet the established fundraising strategy and goals.
Create and implement donor engagement campaigns, such as an annual fund campaign (Board of Directors, staff, volunteer) and capital campaign. Manage major fundraising campaigns, such as signature event, donor recognition event, annual meeting, and on-site events.
Planning and coordination of special events
Supervise Development staff and volunteers.
Work with the Development Committee in fundraising related projects.
Serve as a representative of ETSS, make public appearances and serve as spokesperson at various community and networking events, as needed.
Assist with management of grant and proposal activities
Manage gift processing, donor acknowledgement and donor database.
Manage marketing, branding, messaging, storytelling, communication materials, and social media to increase ETSS awareness and visibility.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have knowledge of and be able to effectively utilize fundraising software and other computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Fundraising experience and/or knowledge of major gifts strategy
Donor development strategies
Knowledge of government and foundation grant process
Ability to build and manage relationships with high-potential corporate and individual donors, staff and volunteers
Experience managing staff
Ability to analyze data, develop and implement strategies for successful donor engagement and fundraising results.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Maintain confidentiality and privileged information
Strong presentation skills
Ability to oversee planning of special events from conception to conclusion
Knowledge of organizational marketing, branding and messaging
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
Minimum of three years of experience in professional non-profit fundraising, grant-writing, marketing and/or resource development. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment with a wide range of constituents.
