What we need:

We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Business Administrator 1 within the Division Forestry, headquartered at Morse Road ODNR Main Campus, assigned to Franklin county. What you will do…

Serve as an assistant in the overall management of the business office and/or plan, direct & coordinate fiscal & support functions for the Division & supervise support services employees.

Coordinate Division motor fleet operations, schedule & assign vehicles to employees & assist in developing procedures pertaining to Division fleet management & operations &/or services

Analyze Division's procurement need & plan, find, evaluate & contract with suppliers of goods & services, & ensure suppliers performance.

Manages asset/inventory activities to include inventory control, following agency policies & procedures, as well as state & or federal regulations governing inventory control, and salvage & surplus disposal procedures.

Manages and coordinates Division information Technology activities, serves as the Division Governance Board member facilitating Forestry IT projects & future needs.

Starting hourly pay of $32.35/hr with multiple pay increases over the first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $46.09/hr.

There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five years of state service. For more details refer to the Exempt employees pay range schedule & longevity rates. Exempt Employees E1 Department of Administrative Services

3 yrs. trg. or 3 yrs. exp. in accounting & auditing or business management.

-Or completion of undergraduate core coursework in accounting or business management; 12 mos. exp. in accounting or business management.

-Or 12 mos. exp. as Business Services Officer, 63311.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
