Day shift, 4x10 hours (06:30 - 17:00), Monday through Thursday. On-call required 1-2 Fridays per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab EP RN with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. This position requires proficiency in various cardiac procedures and patient care, particularly in the electrophysiology and interventional cardiology settings. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and assist in advanced cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Circulate and monitor various cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients throughout various interventions.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Perform cardiac assessments and interventions, including the interpretation of EKG readings and management of dysrhythmias.

Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active RN license in Maryland.

ACLS and BLS certifications are required; NIH certification is preferred.

Experience with cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and various cardiovascular devices.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to support interdisciplinary collaboration.
