Your Responsibilities as a Nurse Practitioner

Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing tailored care plans

Identifying and managing acute and chronic health issues, collaborating with physicians or confidently practicing independently as appropriate

Providing education on prevention and health management to patients and families

Prescribing treatments and medications within your certified scope of practice

Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care coordination

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate well-rounded patient care

Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records in electronic medical systems Education Prerequisites

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license within Ohio

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or capability to obtain within 90 days Unique Skills You Offer
