Oracle PL / SQL Software Engineer

Position Summary:

Senior Oracle PL / SQL Software Engineer with technical proficiency and demonstrated experience on database development, data modelling and application management for a business facing web application. Senior database developer will write, review and design complex SQL queries. The person will also design Oracle tables and schemas, review developer's designs, suggest to development team on using Oracle database features, and liaison with DBAs.

Primary Skill:

Oracle SQL / PLSQL

Required Skills:

Application Developer proficient on Oracle PL / SQL, database design, data modeling, performance tuning, stored procedures, backup and recovery, data security management, and version control

Essentially, a deep understanding of database concepts and the ability to efficiently manipulate data using SQL to create and maintain robust database systems Required Skills:

Oracle 19 g

Strong SQL skills.

Experience in data modeling and database design.

Optimize SQL queries, views, functions and stored procedures.

Materialized views

Performance tuning

ERD diagrams

Clear communication skills.

Able to work with cross application teams on multiple initiatives and provide technical leadership on code quality, design & implementation. Desired Skills:

Familiarity and understanding of Java/J2EE,

Knowledge of Java integration with Oracle DB

Oracle application DBA skills
