Position: Python AWS Developer with Java

Location: Columbus, OH (5 Days Onsite) Need Local Candidates only

Duration: Long Term Contract

Candidates should have min 5 years of onsite experience, Tier 1 background along with Recent FinTech/Banking domain experience will be highly preferred

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Python AWS Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using Python and AWS services. The ideal candidate has a strong software development background, a deep understanding of AWS infrastructure, and experience with building scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI).

• Design and implement cloud-native applications using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.).

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or other tools.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning usingInfrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and optimize performance.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Python development.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, API Gateway, etc.).

• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.

• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and containerization (Docker, ECS, or EKS).

• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
