Jet Parts Engineering, a Seattle-area aerospace company, seeks a Power BI Developer to join our growing BI team. You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, write SQL queries, and integrate data from multiple sources to deliver actionable insights across the organization. This role offers 50-70% focus on core BI development with opportunities to support IT tasks and contribute to automation and process improvement projects. Perfect for someone with 1-3 years' experience ready to make an immediate impact. Onsite position eligible for 1 day/week remote work from home.
Local applicants preferred as they must be able to work on-site in Seattle, WA. This role does not offer relocation assistance.
Core Responsibilities (Includes but is not limited to)
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for multi-company operations
Write/optimize SQL queries (PL/SQL, T-SQL) for data extraction
Integrate data from multiple sources using SQL, Power Query, Fabric
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver BI reports, analysis, and actionable insights
Provide onsite IT tier-1 support under supervision of IT director
Contribute to business automation initiatives and process improvements
Support ERP system integrations and development (Quantum Control, AvSight/Salesforce)
Any other duties as assigned Required Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma/GED required
1-3 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI development
Solid SQL query writing and optimization skills (PL/SQL, T-SQL)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to find creative solutions
US work authorization required Preferred Qualifications
Experience in distribution and/or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with aerospace industry practices
Experience with ERP systems (Quantum Control, AvSight, or similar)
Experience with the Salesforce platform
Understanding of UI/UX principles
Knowledge of PHP and website support
Understanding of API/MCP integrations
Interest in AI and machine learning applications in business Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods
Good manual and finger dexterity for computer work
Visual acuity for detailed data analysis and extended periods of concentration
