Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Administrator with IAT Level III certification and an active TS/SCI clearance for a role supporting a critical mission client in Annapolis Junction, MD.
The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SharePoint environments within a secure infrastructure. In addition to system administration tasks, the role includes ticket triage and resolution, user support, and coordinating with various teams to ensure SharePoint services are accessible, compliant, and efficient. Candidates must be comfortable working in a mission-driven environment and capable of addressing both technical and user-facing issues.
The ideal candidate must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and meet one of the following experience requirements: a minimum of 5 years with a BS/BA degree, or 3 years with an MS/MA. The role requires demonstrated experience administering and maintaining SharePoint environments, familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and SharePoint configuration, as well as a current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification. dminister, configure, and maintain SharePoint environments (on-premises and/or SharePoint Online)
Manage user permissions, groups, and site collections in compliance with security policies
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning
Collect, triage, and expedite service tickets related to SharePoint access, configuration, and performance issues
Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving issues promptly
Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
Work with stakeholders to design and implement new SharePoint sites and workflows
utomate administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools
Ensure system compliance with DoD cybersecurity and accreditation requirements (STIGs, patches, etc.)
Collaborate with IT teams, security personnel, and business units to ensure SharePoint solutions meet mission requirements. Position Qualifications:
TS/SCI level clearance is required
Minimum of 5 years with BS/BA; or 3 years with MS/M
Experience administering and maintaining SharePoint environments (on-prem and/or SharePoint Online)
Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification
Proficient in user permissions management, site creation, and workflow optimization
