Solution Architecture II

Required qualifications are:

• Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with the Engagement Manager

• Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements

• Co-team with the Technical Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements

• Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document

• Participate in training design, documentation and delivery efforts in concert with the Engagement Manager

• Participate and lead design and technical solutioning meetings

• Be able to influence others to achieve the desired Architecture solution

• Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Cloud technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base

• Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a technology solution and able to handle multiple priorities

Additional preferred qualifications are:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred

• Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs

• Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints

• Should have hands-on expertise in some of the following technologies/concepts: Security, Resiliency, Integration/EAI technologies (e.g., Pervasive, Informatica, Jitterbit, ESB), C++Java/J2EE, including SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc.), Common frameworks such as struts, spring, hibernate, etc. and Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures

Required Skills : • Architecture and design/principles • Candidate should have been a strong hands-on development who moved into an architect role • Full stack Java development (or .NET), Oracle, Cloud, Angular or React on the front end • Onsite 3 days per week in Pittsburgh (Lake Mary would be considered a secondary option... team currently does not have any presence in Lake Mary, however) • Will work with different teams (Engineering, Product management, Ops, Business owners, Scrum leads) • Work experience > certifications but certs are still a plus • Preference is to hire to FTE during the assignment • 1-2 video interviews with an onsite interview for local candidates • Will present the blueprint to review boards... must have strong written and verbal communication skills
