Location: Bath, Somerset

Salary: £42,000–£45,000 per year (DOE) + monthly service charge (~£2,000 per year) + management bonus

Hours: Full-time Mix of day, evening and weekend shifts

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a highly professional and engaging Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team and oversee service across both dining outlets. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the property’s excellent reputation, delivering warm, attentive service and ensuring that every guest experience is consistently exceptional.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the restaurant team across all dining areas

Maintain consistently high standards of service and guest care

Develop strong menu knowledge and confidently support guest recommendations

Recruit, train, and mentor team members, embedding a strong service culture

Oversee opening and closing procedures and daily operational management

Work collaboratively with the kitchen and senior management to deliver seamless service

Support rota planning, labour management, and operational efficiency

Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring proactive service recovery

About You

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or senior FOH leader in a high-quality hotel or restaurant

Comfortable managing both fine-dining and casual dining operations

Warm, confident communicator with a strong guest-focused approach

Organised, proactive, and hands-on, with flexibility to work mixed shifts

Passionate about hospitality, food, wine, and team development

Able to foster a positive, collaborative culture across all departments
