Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled PostgreSQL Developer DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our PostgreSQL databases, both on-premises and in the cloud (AWS RDS). This role requires a strong emphasis on query tuning and development, along with collaboration with development teams to ensure efficient and effective database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance, stability, and security in both on-premises and AWS RDS environments.

Perform advanced query tuning and optimization to enhance database performance.

Develop and implement database monitoring and alerting solutions.

Collaborate with development teams to design, review, and optimize database schemas and queries.

Develop and enhance database-related applications and tools.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to database environments and processes.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database management. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.

Proven experience in database administration, including performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design.

Experience with AWS RDS PostgreSQL and PostgreSQL running on Linux.

Strong understanding of database security practices and disaster recovery strategies.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
