Senior Business Analyst (System Analyst)

Business Analyst / System Analyst - Long-Term Contract - McLean, VA (Hybrid)

This will be a hybrid role in McLean, VA. You will be working 2-3 days at this location.

This role requires strong project management knowledge, the ability to synthesize and present data, and a proactive approach to quickly get up to speed on new projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast-paced environments within the tech industry and a deep understanding of collaboration and project planning tools.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with PMO, Federal Program Teams, Engineering, and Product Leads to document business and system requirements.

Support federal initiatives by ensuring compliance, tracking deliverables, and maintaining project alignment.

Take ownership of program and project deliverables, including drafting reports and ensuring timely execution.

Synthesize and present complex data in a compelling way to support decision-making.

Create and deliver presentations for stakeholders to communicate insights, progress, and recommendations.

Utilize Miro and Smartsheets for workflow tracking and documentation.

Adapt quickly to new projects, taking the initiative to drive execution with minimal supervision. Required Skills:

Federal agency experience is a must-have.

Experience supporting federal initiatives and working with PMOs.

Strong project management knowledge and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills for data manipulation, automation, and visualization.

Ability to synthesize, present, and deliver data-driven insights effectively.

Hands-on experience with Miro and Smartsheets for collaboration and project tracking.
