Role Description:

Develop and maintain Ruby language application code ? Plan, design, develop, modify, debug and evaluate moderately complex software for functional areas. ? Analyze existing software or work to formulate logic for moderately complex new systems. Understand the interface requirements and configuration architecture. ? Create Design Document for the integration. ? Configure the application points as per specification using Java and Angular.? Perform code review, and shake down test and deliver Work in Agile environments ? Ability to work on technology Plug-ins, Messaging, API ? Strong capabilities in relational databases, message queues, and batch systems.

Essential Skills:

4+ years of development experience in Ruby and in Cucumber framework ? Ability with Ruby programming. ? 3+ years of experience with the design, development, modification and deployment of software, including object-oriented programming concepts. ? Configure screen layouts including creation of new screens (PCFs). ? Good working knowledge of Ruby/Cucumber Configuration and Integration work areas. ? Expertise in configuring and developing several areas in Domain (Policy Transactions/Job Configuration Experience implementing multiple Personal LOBs Product Modeling, Quoting, Rating Management, Forms Management, Policy Revisioning, UW Authority, Account Management, Batch Framework and Policy Center Administration). ? Experience in configuring operational and administration related parameters such as roles and permissions. ? Experience working within a development team using Agile methodology to deliver User stories.- Prior experience performing minor and major enhancements and software upgrades. ? Functional Implementation Maintenance Support project experience. ? Experience in Personal lines of Insurance business: General Liability or Professional Liability will be a plus.

Desirable Skills:

Good knowledge in Ruby and Cucumber Framework along with TOSCA ? Ruby Developer with expertise building applications mainly in Insurance Domain ? Building Ruby APIs as middle layers.
