Night worker - Support worker

Fresh Start Project CIC is a community interest company providing supported accommodation for men experiencing homelessness in Stockton-on-Tees. Our aim is to offer a safe, stable and respectful environment that enables individuals to take steps towards independent living.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Night Worker to join our team. This role is not primarily a support role but focuses on maintaining a safe and welcoming environment overnight.

Key responsibilities will include:

Monitoring and manning the building throughout the night to ensure safety and security.

Carrying out cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness across communal areas.

Assisting with basic office/admin tasks, such as logging incidents, filing, and updating records.

Responding to any emergencies or incidents in line with our procedures.

Maintaining professional boundaries and ensuring a calm and respectful environment.

About You

We are seeking someone who is:

Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.

Calm under pressure with good problem-solving skills.

Able to follow policies and procedures.

Basic IT/admin skills (training can be provided).

Previous experience in cleaning, security, housing, or a similar environment would be an advantage, but not essential

Must have Full enhanced DBS

Must be able to drive and have access to a car

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50 per hour
