Short Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care by implementing and monitoring individualized nursing care plans. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Nurses are expected to actively promote safety, adhere to hospital standards of appearance and attendance, and participate in continuous professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document initial nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
Develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Provide accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Educate patients and families throughout the care process, starting at admission and continuing through discharge.
Communicate patient status changes promptly to physicians and charge nurses to ensure continuity of care.
Supervise and delegate duties appropriately to ancillary staff.
Participate in team conferences, safety initiatives, and unit-based collaboration.
Support a safe work environment through adherence to safety procedures (patient handling, infection control, fall prevention, etc.).
Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
Manage time effectively and ensure cost-efficient care delivery.

Requirements:
BLS certification – Required
ACLS certification – Required
Minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience
