Director, Project Management Office (PMO)

OmniaBio is seeking a Director for its Project Management Office to lead governance, methodology, and portfolio execution across the organization.

Role Summary

The Director of Project Management leads the PMO to design and implement governance frameworks, methodology, and resource management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the PMO governance framework, including purpose, scope, authority, KPI, and decision making processes.

Standardize project management systems and processes; develop tools and templates to manage a portfolio of transformational projects.

Consult with cross functional stakeholders to review project proposals, scopes, budgets, staffing, and constraints.

Drive adoption and implementation of project and program management methodologies across the organization.

Oversee project tracking systems, templates, and tools; ensure consistent use of the OmniaBio operating model.

Build and lead the PMO structure, program, and team across multiple manufacturing facilities; allocate resources and provide training to project managers.

Collaborate with business development and internal stakeholders to align project priorities with company objectives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or related field.

10+ years managing a PMO and 10+ years in project management within a health sciences field.

Experience leading and managing teams; client management experience required, global client management an asset.

PMP certification required.

Experience managing complex teams and wide range of projects and programs.

Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
