Title: PL/SQL Developer Lead

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite, 5x per week)

Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

Job Description:

We are seeking a PL/SQL Developer Lead with strong expertise in Oracle database development and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and database management across multiple Oracle versions. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.

Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning for large-scale enterprise systems.

Collaborate with application developers and DBAs to optimize database queries and improve performance.

Analyze business and technical requirements to design efficient database solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and cross-functional teams.

Document database processes, standards, and best practices. Required Skills & Experience:

4-8 years of hands-on experience in RDBMS, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL development.

Proven experience with Oracle 10g, 11g, and 19c environments.

Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
