Activities Aide

Martin Coast Rehabilitation and Healthcare -

Purpose of this job is to assist Activity Director to plan, organize, develop and implement activity programs in accordance to current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility. Must have a clear Certified Nurse Aide certificate and AHCA background.

Coordinate activities with other related department

Ensure supplies need for activities are obtained and set up, Clean up supplies and areas upon completion of activities.

Ensure activity begins at tha scheduled time. involve residents and families in planning facility activity programs

Assist in transporting residents to and from activities area. Notify Activity director of concerns and identify any problems.

Alert nursing of any change in condition, resident behavior that may arise.
