If so, then you might be our new Senior Manager, Commercial Obesity.
Your new role
As a Senior Manager, Commercial Obesity, your responsibility will be to drive and support the development and implementation of the obesity business strategy across region EUCAN markets, as well as to identify and pursue business growth opportunities that enable the region and markets to expand leadership in the obesity space. In addition, you will be responsible for implementing targeted initiatives to improve overall market performance and meeting business objectives across markets. Moreover, you will be responsible of overseeing the development and execution of robust launch brand strategies to enhance market positioning within the obesity portfolio.
Your main responsibilities include:
Drive commercial planning and brand building with clear differentiation in EUCAN markets with the obesity portfolio
Support complex decision-making processes, including target-setting and senior management reporting, with robust analysis and diagnoses, applying both qualitative and quantitative approaches
Collaborate closely with local commercial obesity teams in Region EUCAN, Global, and the regional office cross-functional teams
Support and conduct sparring with senior professionals and relevant functional groups to scope and implement business initiatives, as well as activate best practices and region-wide strategies
Drive the strategy implementation for obesity and enable growth to improve business performance for EUCAN markets
Your new department
The role will be based in Ørestad, Denmark, and will report directly to the Head of Cardiometabolic Marketing in Region EUCAN, Novo Nordisk. Region EUCAN is a region in International Operations covering 40 countries and employing around 5.000 people. The Cardiometabolic Marketing team is a very dynamic unit (part of the Medical and Marketing unit) combining commercial strategy development as well as frontline excellence and execution. Access to innovation and better care for patients across Region EUCAN is critical for the entire portfolio. Your skills & qualifications
You have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. In addition, you have 5+ years of experience in commercial roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or consumer health industry.
To be successful in this role, you should also have:
Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams to drive business growth and impact
Solid experience with commercial strategy, marketing, brand management, and/or commercial execution and operations
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives preferably within the pharmaceutical sector, leveraging industry knowledge to drive organisational and business goals
Experience in management consulting is an advantage with a proven toolbox of structured and analytical problem-solving, leveraging critical insights to high-stakes projects, and delivering high-impact results through innovative approaches
Proven skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, with a strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies together with a ‘can-do’ attitude and an innovative mindset to new challenges
