For more information about DVCH and our services, visit us online at QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND KNOWLEDGE: Dental Assistant (DA) diploma or transcript is required, or candidates must demonstrate extensive experience in dental assisting.

Basic computer skills are mandatory.

Experience with digital software and/or prior dental experience is preferred.

Proficiency in Electronic Dental Record (EDR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is expected.

Familiarity with the insurance plans accepted by the organization is preferred.

Candidates must exhibit a positive and enthusiastic attitude when working directly with patients.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is active in nature.

Extended periods of time may be spent at a computer terminal.

Occasional local travel may be required to meet operational needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is primarily performed in a busy, multi-cultural ambulatory care setting.

There is routine exposure to infectious disease and blood borne pathogens associated with a clinical work environment.

Protective equipment must be used and strict safety rules must be followed.
