Rooming patients, dressing changes, assist with procedures, scheduling procedures, and obtaining prior authorizations.
Reports to: Manager Requirements: * Education: Graduate of an LPN program * License: Current LPN to practice in the state of North Carolina * Certifications: BCLS * 6 years clinical experience Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Essential Function * Collects and documents patient intake data.
Maintains accurate and complete patient records * Provides patient support that reflects considerations for emotional, physical, social, cultural, religious and economic influences.
* Assists with routine clinic support activities.
* Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
* Maintains appropriate, safe and therapeutic environment per clinic policy.
* Coordinates nursing staff to facilitate accessibility and continuity of care.
* Coordinates requests of physicians and office staff in regard to patient activities and needs.
* Athena Super User role * Assist with Quality Controls of all Point of Care testing * Provide support for staffing when management is unavailable * Decision recommendations for staffing overtime and low census to be communicated to manager for final approvals.
* Assist with orientation and training of personnel and students.
* Participates and attends meetings as required and/ or assigned.
* Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
