Experienced Diesel Technician

Position Description

Join our team as a Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet. We are seeking skilled individuals who are passionate about heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair.

Hourly Pay: $23.00

Certification Bonus: $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained (up to $700)

Quarterly Bonus: Earn up to $500 every quarter!

Sign-On Bonus: Receive $1250 after 30 days and another $1250 after 90 days!

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday

Hours: First Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Vocational or Technical Certification preferred

Basic tools required

Experience in mechanical repair of diesel engines including routine maintenance

Two (2) years of relevant experience preferred

Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred

This position requires driving Ryder vehicles. Must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire.

Pass Drug Test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, and background check.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repair duties on vehicles

Conduct standard vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance

Diagnose mechanical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools

Determine the root cause of failures and perform necessary repairs

Replace defective parts as necessary

Interact with customers to identify and address vehicle complaints

Adhere to federal, provincial, and corporate compliance guidelines
