Sanova's PMO is growing! The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional technology projects from initiation through delivery. Responsibilities
Summary:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional technology projects from initiation through delivery. This role oversees project planning, resource alignment, budgeting, execution, and stakeholder communication, while also contributing hands-on technical support when needed. The position plays a key role in driving strategic initiatives aligned with the company's long-term digital transformation goals, including-but not limited to-ERP modernization, system integrations, automations, and platform upgrades.

Projects may include ERP replacement, CRM enhancements, data platform modernization, and other enterprise systems. The Technical Project Manager ensures these efforts are executed effectively, positioning the organization for sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project plans encompassing all disciplines involved in the initiative
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
Coordinate internal teams and external partners to align resources and timelines
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and produce regular status updates and variance reports
Serve as a liaison to IT and business leadership, providing visibility into project health and recommending solutions to emerging issues
Manage multiple concurrent projects across various business units and technology domains
Provide hands-on technical support as needed, including testing, troubleshooting, and validating system changes
Track and manage project changes, ensuring updated schedules and documentation are maintained
Document and maintain project plans using agreed-upon tools; monitor budgets and expenditures
Oversee project milestone reviews and ensure timely completion of deliverables
Coordinate and conduct project kickoff and cadence meetings
Assign tasks, manage workloads, and provide clear direction to team members
Facilitate team meetings and foster a collaborative, solution-oriented environment
Mentor and train team members to support skill development and career growth
Participate in hiring and onboarding of new project team members
Analyze business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and automation
Support project sponsors throughout the lifecycle of their initiatives
Lead or contribute to strategic projects outlined in the corporate OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures) Skills/Experience Required:
Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, business or related field
Minimum 5 years of previous technical project related experience required
Project Management (PMP) Certification or equivalent related experience
Technical proficiency with ERP systems; D365 F&O strongly preferred
Critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems efficiently
Capable of working independently with minimum supervision
Ability to work effectively with project teams and prepare project presentations
Ability to develop strong relationships and work effectively with employees at all levels
Knowledge of corporate accounting practices and business processes and how those practices are implemented within the ERP platform
Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively and juggle multiple projects
Proficient research and analytical capabilities
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the company as well as with customers and various outside agencies
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with O365 suite, as well as Project Management software/tools
Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple tasks
