REGISTERED NURSE DETAILS

3rd Shift $30.69-36.09 per hour BOE

Location: Somerset, KY.

About the Registered Nurse role

-Administer medication and treatment, while supervising LPNs in executing physicians' orders and proper nursing procedures.

-Investigate and report on unusual incidents involving resident care, and report residents' abnormal physical and mental reactions to the physician.

-Interact with residents and families to explain treatment.

-Conduct formalized training sessions for professional and non-professional personnel, attend in-service training programs, and participate in drills for and respond to facility emergencies.

-Take appropriate action if abuse or neglect (by staff, visitors, family, or peers) occurs, including protecting and supporting the resident, and reporting/documenting the incident.

Registered Nurse Requirements

-Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

-Registered Nurse license issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a state Nursing Board in the "Compact State Agreement."

-Valid driver's license.
