Olive Recruiting is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our manufacturing clients team near Salt Lake City, Utah. This role blends the art of relationship-driven sales with the structure of project management. You will oversee the full sales cycle-from prospecting and building client relationships to coordinating pre-booking projects and delivering solution-based selling. As a key contributor, you will work with both internal and external clients throughout the Bid-Build/Design-Build process, driving deals to successful close.
Responsibilities
Engage prospective clients to uncover challenges and present tailored solutions.
Apply solution-based selling strategies to demonstrate value and meet customer needs.
Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
Accurately forecast sales outcomes and track performance against KPIs.
Consistently achieve sales targets while working independently.
Drive sales prospecting efforts using consultative approaches, while supporting marketing, pricing, and business development initiatives.
Maintain reliable, detailed activity logs in CRM (NetSuite). Qualifications
7-10 years of sales experience in commercial construction or related fields, working with architects, landscape architects, general contractors, and installers.
Strong background in proposal generation, Bid-Build/Design-Build, or construction environments; experience in landscape architecture preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe; experience with CRM/ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus.
Collaborative team player with proven ability to thrive in cross-functional environments.
Excellent communication skills, curiosity for continuous learning, and a solution-oriented mindset with project management experience in architecture, construction, or landscape architecture.
Demonstrated success in managing long-term client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and prospecting new opportunities while representing a trusted, solution-driven brand.
Ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications, follow up with stakeholders, define project scope, and strategically close deals.
