As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring smooth bar operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized bar, restocking supplies, and assisting with drink preparation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen attention to detail, and is eager to learn about craft cocktails and bar service.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist bartenders with stocking and replenishing liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workstations.
Ensure bar stations are well-prepped and fully stocked throughout service.
Retrieve and restock ice, clean spills, and remove trash to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Support bartenders with basic prep work, such as cutting garnishes and refilling syrups.
Assist with keg changes and other bar maintenance tasks as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management.
Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a high-volume bar, craft cocktail, or hospitality setting preferred.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn about cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
Ability to lift heavy items such as cases of liquor and bags of ice.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
Must be 18 years or older.
