Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive, in the Columbus area, to join our growing sales team. This is a full-cycle sales role ideal for a professional who thrives on managing the entire sales process, from initial prospecting to delivering compelling software demonstrations.

You will be responsible for building a robust sales pipeline for our behavioral health EMR platform. This role requires the "hunting" mindset combined with the technical aptitude and consultative skills of an Account Executive to understand a prospect's needs, demonstrate our solution's value, and manage the full sales cycle. You will be the primary point of contact for new prospects and will work closely with our Sales Engineering team for deep technical discovery, integration discussions, and implementation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Sales Management: Own the entire sales process from prospecting and lead generation to qualification, product demonstration, collaboration with the technical team, and closing.

Prospecting & Pipeline Generation: Proactively research and identify potential clients (e.g., behavioral health practices, clinics, hospitals) using various outreach tools and methods (cold calling, email, LinkedIn).

Lead Qualification: Conduct initial discovery calls to understand a prospect's current workflows, pain points, and business needs. Qualify leads against established criteria to ensure they are a good fit for our EMR solution.

Software Demonstration: Develop a deep expertise in our EMR platform. Conduct compelling, tailored software demonstrations that align with a prospect's specific challenges and showcase the value and ROI of our solution.

Sales Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Sales Engineers to prepare for and manage more complex technical conversations, addressing questions on implementation, data migration, and integration.

Relationship & Pipeline Nurturing: Build and maintain relationships with prospects, guiding them through the evaluation process.

CRM Management: Meticulously track all sales activities, communications, and opportunity statuses in our CRM to ensure accurate forecasting.

Achieve Quotas: Consistently meet or exceed targets for meetings set, demos completed, qualified pipeline generated, and deals closed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a B2B sales role within SaaS, HealthTech, or a related technology field.

Technical Aptitude: A "tech-savvy" mindset. You must have the ability to quickly learn complex software, understand technical concepts, and demonstrate the platform with confidence and clarity.

Demonstration Skills: Proven ability to conduct engaging and effective software demonstrations.

Prospecting Skills: Strong experience and "hunter" mentality for prospecting and building a sales pipeline.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate a clear value proposition to various stakeholders (from clinicians to administrators).

Resilience: A persistent, self-motivated, and resilient attitude.

Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a high volume of leads and activities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

Direct experience selling EMR/EHR, revenue cycle management (RCM), or other practice management software.

Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system or, specifically, the behavioral health industry (e.g., common workflows, billing, HIPAA compliance).

Experience using sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
