Industry: Accounting, Tax, Legal & HR Advisory
Main Responsibilities
1. Client Advisory & Business Development
Act as the main contact person for both existing and new clients.
Conduct advisory meetings covering accounting, tax, legal, and labor compliance matters.
Handle client inquiries and provide appropriate, professional advice in coordination with internal teams.
Support new business development, including preparing proposals, quotations, and service presentations.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term cooperation.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with Japanese management, ensuring accurate understanding of client situations and smooth execution of management instructions.
Review client deliverables (tax returns, financial statements, reports) before submission when necessary and provide feedback to the tax/accounting teams.
Maintain strong relationships with government authorities, auditors, and business partners when required.
Represent the firm in seminars, business forums, and networking events to enhance the firms professional presence.
2. Internal Management & Quality Control
Supervise and guide senior and junior accountants in daily operations and project execution.
Review client service processes to ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with internal standards.
Coordinate with other group offices for regional or cross-border projects.
Monitor project progress, deadlines, and client satisfaction, and take corrective actions where necessary.
Support HR and recruitment activities, including interviews and performance feedback when assigned.
Assist in creating and improving internal procedures and SOPs related to client management and advisory workflow.
3. Knowledge & Professional Development
Stay updated with developments in Cambodian tax law, accounting standards (IFRS), and labor regulations.
Participate in regional or international conferences and share insights with the local team.
Contribute to internal training sessions and mentoring programs.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in consulting, accounting, or tax advisory (preferably with multinational or consulting firms).
Broad understanding of accounting, tax, legal, and HR compliance in Cambodia.
Strong leadership and client communication skills, capable of managing multiple clients independently.
Excellent command of English; Japanese communication ability is a strong advantage.
Skilled in client presentation, negotiation, and relationship management.
Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to propose solutions.
Capable of working in an international environment and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
