Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will oversee key financial operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will play a vital part in analyzing financial data and providing insights that shape strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

• Lead and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate results.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance and providing meaningful insights to aid decision-making.

• Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to deliver financial guidance and strategic recommendations.

• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to align financial resources with organizational goals.

• Track financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support proactive decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls across all accounting operations.

• Streamline document handling processes, including scanning, compiling, and managing financial records.

• Implement best practices for document control to maintain organized and accessible financial data.• Proven experience in accounting and financial management roles, preferably as a Controller.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting processes.

• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Proficiency in document control, scanning, and compiling financial records.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and leadership.

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and internal control practices.

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
