Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) telemetry position in Ohio, requiring an OH or compact RN license and Epic charting experience. Responsibilities

Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting

Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring

May float to units of equal or lower acuity as needed

Epic EMR experience is required

Must complete OH fingerprinting process promptly after contract signing

Responsible for floating to other units as directed

RTO must be submitted and built into contract at the time of application

Locals are accepted at the same rate

Professional attire required in accordance with hospital policy Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license in hand

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Must pass a telemetry competency test

Proficient in IV starts, general nursing skills, labs, medication administration, and patient education

Experience monitoring telemetry patients required

Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Two professional references required, with one from a supervisor, manager, or formal leader

Previous employment with the facility requires a 6-month separation before eligibility Benefits
