Description:

Senior Estimator Responsibilities * Manage all project documentation to ensure compliance, schedule adherence, and budget control.

* Assemble and distribute as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases.

* Schedule projects in logical phases and allocate time effectively to meet deadlines.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

* Track and analyze cost data to reduce gaps between estimates and actuals.

* Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor bids and budgets.

* Prepare and present comprehensive estimate documentation, identifying gaps and risks.

* Generate estimates across multiple delivery systems and review quotes with project management.

* Assist with post-bid buyouts and subcontractor onboarding.

* Participate in meet-and-greet presentations with subcontractors and suppliers.

The Successful Applicant Senior Estimator Qualifications * 7+ years of experience in construction estimating (commercial preferred). * Strong understanding of construction law and industry best practices.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

* Associate's degree required; Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

* Experience across diverse project types and delivery methods.

* Proficiency in construction software and willingness to learn new platforms.

* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

* Ability to prepare estimates from proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

* Skilled in identifying labor, material, and time requirements.

* Comfortable attending bid meetings, owner meetings, and stakeholder presentations.

* Works directly with the Chief Estimator on both small and large-scale projects.
