About Foundervine

Today, Foundervine stands as one of the largest and most active accelerator ecosystems, successfully orchestrating and executing business and investment readiness programs to support entrepreneurs. Our track record includes collaboration with prestigious clients such as Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group, Sainsbury's, Google, and the UK Government.

Foundervine recently launched its US operations, and this internship offers an exciting opportunity to help shape our presence and impact in the American startup ecosystem.

You'll join a small, mission-driven, and globally connected team that values integrity, inclusion, collaboration, and curiosity. We're committed to creating an environment where ideas thrive and everyone's contributions make a meaningful impact.

The Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Intern who is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and social impact to support Foundervine's growing US operations.

Foundervine is currently in an exciting growth and development phase in the US, building partnerships with accelerators, universities, investors, and ecosystem organizations; designing our first US-based programs; and creating content and community outreach strategies to reach early-stage founders.

As an intern, you'll help lay the groundwork for this expansion. You'll assist with research, program coordination, outreach, and marketing, gaining valuable behind-the-scenes insight into how a global entrepreneurship organization establishes itself in a new market. You'll work directly with a senior team member based in the US and collaborate with colleagues in the UK and Ghana.

This internship is unpaid, but eligible for university credit. It's a chance to gain hands-on experience working in a fast-paced, international environment supporting entrepreneurship programs, partnerships, and community engagement.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Program & Operations Support

Assist in planning, coordination, and delivery of Foundervine's recruitment events in the DMV.

Support the setup of program logistics using tools like Google Workspace, Asana, and Notion.

Assist in securing facilitators, speakers, and mentors.

Input into the design of our flagship accelerator.

Research & Partnership Support

Conduct research on the US startup ecosystem to identify potential partners, funders, and collaborators.

Support outreach and communication with potential partners, clients, and ecosystem stakeholders.

Maintain databases to track contacts and opportunities.

Marketing & Communications

Help draft original blogs and content to support Foundervine's US launch.

Support website or content updates as needed.

Administrative Support

Take notes during internal and external meetings and share key follow-ups.

Manage and monitor detailed project schedules and work plans using digital tools like Asana, Notion, Google Suite and Slack.

What We're Looking For:

Ideal candidates will have:

A genuine interest in entrepreneurship, startups, and social impact.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Comfort working independently and managing multiple priorities.

A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

Nice to have (but not required):

Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Notion).

Experience in event planning, research, or student entrepreneurship clubs.

What You'll Gain

Hands-on experience supporting the early growth of an international social enterprise.

Exposure to the startup and innovation ecosystem across the US and globally.

Mentorship and regular feedback from an experienced social impact leader.

Opportunities to connect with founders, mentors, and ecosystem partners.

Course credit through your university (if applicable).
