Join a leading plastics manufacturer and play a key role in setting up and running injection moulding equipment that produces high-quality parts.

Required is an experienced Injection Moulding Setter who can set up, troubleshoot, and optimise moulding processes while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Role based: Telford

Shift-bases: Working double days

What You’ll Do

Set up moulds and install them into injection moulding presses

Configure machine parameters and process parts to specification

Inspect sample and production parts for accuracy and quality

Troubleshoot and resolve process issues at the press

Record and maintain process settings and documentation

Safely handle materials, tools, and equipment

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in injection moulding setup and processing (essential)

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to use measuring instruments (calipers, scales, dial indicators, etc.)

Comfortable using basic computer systems and following written instructions

Safety-focused and physically capable of hands-on work (lifting, bending, reaching)

IMT level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) highly desirable

Team-oriented, reliable, and punctual

Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead hoists is an advantage but not essential.

You will have current or recent experience as injection mould technician, injection moulder, injection mould setter, injection mould tool setter, injection moulder or process technician
