Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work four 9-hour day shifts per week

• Call requirements include approximately 10 weeknight calls per month

• Weekend call responsibilities Friday, Saturday, Sunday approximately every 3rd weekend

• Holiday call required but shared among staff (1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday)

• 30-minute call response time required

• Circulate and monitor cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology cases

• Provide pre and post procedure patient care and patient calls

• Work in combined cath lab and interventional radiology environment

• Treat patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, and pacemaker procedures

• Must have cardiac catheterization experience - required

• Interventional radiology experience preferred or willingness to learn

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

• Use Epic EMR system, MacLab, and Siemens equipment

• Provided blue scrubs for dress code

• No floating to other facilities required

• Unit-specific orientation provided over several days following general hospital orientation

The facility provides comprehensive cardiac services with cardiologists available in-house during day hours and on-call coverage overnight. The organization maintains modern equipment and Epic EMR systems to support high-quality patient care in both cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.
