Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft)

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on all plant manufacturing and support equipment.

Assist with basic electronics such as Programmable Logic Controls, photo eyes, relays proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, and basic troubleshooting of all types of industrial robots.

Prepare sites for installation of machines, making the necessary checks on systems.

Use preventative and predictive maintenance processes to rapidly troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and quickly restore equipment to service to support the successful operation of the plant.

Work as part of a team with the goal of increasing productivity and decreasing downtime and waste.

Follow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, etc) and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.

Skills & Abilities Required:

High School Diploma plus equivalent experience, or 2-year associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field.

Basic reading and/or comprehension skills; able to read and/or understand technical manuals and adhere to safety requirements.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
