$5000 Sign-On Bonus!

* Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full or part time position.

Bonus amount is prorated for part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

* Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary: The Cook role is responsible for preparation of foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees.

Assures the facility's cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

This is a full-time, day shift position.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) * Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

* License/Certifications: Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe) and must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

* Experience: One year of relevant food production experience required.

One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred.
